Natural skin care has its roots in the 4th millennium BC in Egypt with natural skin care treatments for a variety of skin conditions. One such treatment consists of bullock's bile, whipped ostrich eggs, olive oil, dough and resin mixed with milk. [citation needed] In the modern age many people with unique skin types and needs (sensitive skin, dry skin, oily skin) have turned to natural skin care solutions.
Jeunvie started with the idea of providing customers with Natural Organic, Paraben and Sulphate free Skin Care Products for the skin and hair. These additives when combined with other ingredients have been controversially linked to some cancers including breast cancer. These compounds are not used by us as we want to ensure the safest product ranges for our customers.
Our Skin Care Products are designed to repair and protect your skin from free radicals. These highly reactive molecules are associated with numerous diseases and aging. They are generated by our exposure to environmental factors such as UV light, chemical sunscreens, smoke, pollutants and radiation. Studies show, the use of antioxidants externally combat free radicals at the surface before they get the chance to damage the skin or enter the bloodstream.
The skin absorbs everything we apply to it—good or bad. Whatever you use on your skin also affects what is absorbed into your body so Jeunvie use fresh, natural, organic fruit extracts essential oils and chemical free base products, grown organically to an agreed standard.
Fruit extracts enable the skin to remain more youthful and healthier and contain vitamins, anti-oxidants, phyto chemicals and phenols which enable the skin to gain nutrients and essential elements it requires to overcome daily stresses. They also enable the skin to stay nourished, healthier, more elastic, and nutritionally boosted; therefore reducing the development of various diseases, including cancer.
Every product contains high concentrations of skin regeneratives like Retinoic Acid, Alpha-Linoleic, Linoleic & Oleic Fatty Acids, Phospholipids, Phytosterols, Tocotrienols, Tocopherols (Vit E), Vitamin A & C, Beta-Carotene, Flavonoids and Essential Minerals.

Aromatherapy
In France, and much of Western Europe aromatherapy is incorporated into mainstream medicine as an antiseptic, antiviral, antifungal and antibacterial, much more so than in the UK, USA or Canada. In fact, there are some essential oils that are regulated as prescription drugs in France, and can only be administered (or prescribed) by a doctor.
When applied topically (on to the skin) they activate thermal receptors and destroy microbes and fungi. At the same time the aroma of the combined essential oils will stimulate the limbic and emotional centers of the brain, creating a feeling of wellbeing by causing the release of chemicals in the brain.
Aromatherapy can help ease a wide assortment of ailments; easing aches, pains, and injuries, while relieving the discomforts of many health problems.
Aromatherapy also acts on the central nervous system, relieving depression and anxiety, reducing stress, relaxing, uplifting, sedating or stimulating, restoring both physical and emotional wellbeing.
